The oil-based needle coke is a high-quality low-sulfur petroleum coke produced by adding catalytic cracking slurry during the delayed coking process in the petroleum refining process. Oil needle coke is divided into green coke and calcined coke (cooked coke). Green coke is widely used to produce anode materials. Calcined needle coke is widely used in the production of high power and ultra high power graphite electrodes. At present, 90% of oil-based needle cokes are imported. Our oil needle cokes are mainly from the United States, the United Kingdom, South Korea, and Japan.
